Just to be clear – we’re talking about the drop downs in the FRONT END of the site, ie on the product pages. Just realised you might be confused and think I’m talking about the backend – considering that’s the video you’ve supplied.

Checking at WooCommerce > System Status, you don’t meet several requirements (see attachment). Also, you have outdated WooCommerce templates. The recent version of X does not have outdated templates. I compared your setup against my test site. Do you have WooCommerce customizations? Or in the past, did you manually add templates? It is possible that they weren’t deleted upon updating X.

Please also give us access FTP access.

In terms of system requirements – we have quite a few other woocommerce installations on this server, with the same recommendations being flagged, but they work fine. Also – we installed the 2015 theme as you requested for testing, and the attribute/variable drop downs worked perfectly – so it’s not a PHP/server issue.

Customisations have been made to woocommerce templates, but these were done based on the new woocommerce version files, and placed in the child theme correctly. It’s possible there’s an error with these, but as far as we can tell everything is present and correct, so that’s why we’re trying to get you guys to help.

FTP details were sent over in a private message on this same thread a week ago.

Please remove the customizations while we investigate so we’ll know if this is an issue with X. Also, please take note that issues arising from customizations fall outside the scope of our support.

The template files from the child theme have been removed now – hope you can find out what’s going on.
