WhiteMintParticipantHello!
My site has been running Woocommerce for some time, so there’s lots of products in there. Recently I upgraded to using the latest X Theme (4.6.1) and also upgraded the Woocommerce accordingly to the version recommended by Themeco (Woocommerce 2.6.3)
Unfortunately this has made the variations on variable products vanish! We’ve got the site running on test space, and here’s an example of the problem:

Let me know if you, or anyone else out there, can shed any light on this issue.

ThaiModeratorHi William,
Upon checking your website, I could see that you had 31 installed plugins.
Please try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
Hope it helps.

WhiteMintParticipantAlready done that I’m afraid – we stripped the plugins all the way back to the bare essentials and it was still an issue.

newmangreeceParticipantDisable Cornerstsone plugin temporarily and check variable product again.
Pls tell me the results.

LelyModeratorHello @William,
Do you have customization regarding the variations? Please also provide FTP credentials on a private reply so we can check there too.
Please open a new thread and then give us your admin credentials too in a private reply.

WhiteMintParticipantHey guys – FTP to follow shortly/privately.
Just wanted to confirm, I have just deactivated all plugins except for WooCommerce and Cornerstone (although @newmangreece I did deactivate this one also – still didn’t help) and it’s still the same problem. You can check this link again to see the page without all the plugins: http://178.159.11.114/~whitex/product/knitted-cacti-small/
Thanks

ChristianModeratorHey there,
Please update WooCommerce to version 2.6.4 first then check if the issue persists.
Thanks.

WhiteMintParticipantDone, and still no joy.
August 24, 2016 at 10:03 am #1144802
ChristianModeratorI see. Since it is a test site, would you mind deactivating Cornerstone and then switch to the default 2015 theme? After that, check if the issue persists. Let us know.
Thanks.

WhiteMintParticipant2015 is installed now – and hey presto, the drop downs are working.
Let me know if you can get to the bottom of why they’re not working in X – would be good to get this sorted out, obviously, as we’d like to use the new features in the latest Woocommerce.
Best wishes

ChristianModeratorHey William,
I switched to the X parent theme and checked your variations here http://178.159.11.114/~whitex/product/knitted-cacti-small/ and the drop downs works. I then switched to the child theme, tested and it works also. I’ve update Cornerstone also and it still works. Tested it several times.
I am not sure how this got fixed but my theory is, something must have been reset in your server like file permissions.
If it still doesn’t work on your end, please try clearing your browser history.
Thanks.

WhiteMintParticipantWe’ve cleared browser history here, reloaded multiple times, not seeing it fixed at all I’m afraid.
