geoffmartynParticipantHi folks,
I have a URL I’m trying to validate so I can develop a site on a subdomain, however the URL seems to be locked into another license and I can’t clear it. I’ve even purchased two more copies of X to try to get around this but it’s not working. I’m going to use the additional copies on new sites anyway, but it looks like the URL is locked into another license at your end. I had previously added it as a development environment and couldn’t get it to validate there either.
The URL is http://staging1.trustindigitallife.eu/
Are you able to clear this from your end?
Thanks
Geoff

geoffmartynParticipantHi Christian,
Is there any update on this? Sorry to hassle you, it’s just holding development back as I can’t add any of the add-ons, which I need to progress the site.
Thanks
Geoff

I have logged in and validated the theme successfully. You can now use the automatic updates and the addons available with X.

RupokMemberHi Geoff,
Usually re-assigning the license fixes the issue unless the error is true. So make sure the site you are trying to validate and the assigned URL is same for the license. As you have multiple licenses so there might be a chance of mismatch. If you are trying to assign this site (http://staging1.trustindigitallife.eu) as main site then you can try assigning as development site.
Let us know how it goes.

geoffmartynParticipantHi Rupok,
Thanks for your reply. I’m not sure that it has been used elsewhere to be honest. All my other licences are used so I don’t think there are any other sites with this issue. Also, when this happened the first time around, I purchased two extra licences as I needed to do this for two new clients and tried to use a fresh key but the same issue appeared. So I’m not convinced that it’s as straightforward as it seems.
Are you able to tell the URL the license key is attached to, or was attached to? If we can’t move on this, can I surrender a licence and get a new one?
Thanks
Geoff

RubinKeymasterHey,
I’ve deleted your purchase code from your account and readded it and now you can reassign it to any site. Let’s see if that resolved that issue once and for all.

geoffmartynParticipantHi Rubin,
Thank you for getting back to me. I’ve tried to reassign it but it still comes back with error that it looks like the code is in use elsewhere.

geoffmartynParticipantHi – sorry to hassle you on this, but I have a client waiting on a login and I can’t provide this whilst X is unauthorised and Cornerstone is therefore inactive.
Thanks
Geoff
