AlexanderKeymasterHi Pablo,
Thanks for that info! I’m sorry, but would you mind posting the URL to your site itself? I’m unsure what the domain is.
One more thing you can try is to delete these plugins entirely “X Shortcodes”, “Revolution Slider”, “Visual Composer”
Then switch to X Theme (parent) You’ll be prompted to install those plugins, and they will be made the latest version. Next, switch back to your child theme.
Let us know if this works. We can still login to check of course!
@Scott, thanks for your testing here as well.
I’ve looked into this further and I can confirm that the plugins don’t update correctly when using a child theme. This is something we need to look into for a future release.

Pablo EParticipantSure, sorry. My domain is http://www.freeletics.es
Thanks!

Pablo EParticipantI’ve done it but I had to do it through FTP. But, I can’t find Visual Composer. Should it be in plugins section?
Thanks again

Scott MParticipantI was able to update the Rev Slider by going into Rev Slider in the control panel and you find this option in the bottom right to manually upgrade… it will ask for the update path and choose the one you downloaded from X, the one you unzipped… although if I recall they ask for the whole zip file.

To update the other plugins (and this may very well work for Rev Slider too). Go into plugins in the control panel and deactivate the plugins you want to upgrade. Then exit out of WP. Login using ftp and delete the plugins you want to upgrade from the live site, then upload the latest plugins from X. (IMP: YOU MUST DELETE THE ORIGINAL PLUGINS, DO NOT SIMPLY OVERWRITE).
Log back into your site and reactivate the plugins.
Pablo, in the upgrade file you downloaded… this is the composer upgrade:
themeforest-5871901-x-the-ultimate-wordpress-theme-wordpress_theme\x\framework\plugins\js_composer.zip
unzip it and upload via ftp

AlexanderKeymasterHi Pablo,
Thanks for the extra info! I just logged in, and I went ahead and updated Visual Composer for you. I also double checked the version numbers, and you now have everything updated!
