Hi, I’m writing about the same account and website that Lisa Cole has been communicating about above. It is loading most of the spa demo content (except the mailchimp bar in the second row) but the main problem is that when I go to ‘view site’ or simply type in the domain name, once I have clicked away from the homepage and onto one of the other pages, I cannot then get back to the homepage – the link on the menu doesn’t work.

Thanks for the clarifications. The homepage was accidentally deleted. I found it in your trash bin. I went ahead and restored it. There should be a homepage in your site now. I also fix your menu. The home menu item should be directed to the correct page.

If you want to reset, simply go to X Addons > Customizer Manager to reset all your settings. You can then import again a demo content and it’s customizer settings. If you want to totally reset your WordPress, you can use a 3rd party plugin, WP Reset and after resetting it, you will have just like a fresh installed WordPress.

Hi, Spa was initially ok after your last message – however the mail chimp was not installed as part of the demo. I decided to work on a different demo and I have been using band for the last week or so. I decided to go back to spa and went to x add ons and went to set up demo content and chose spa. When spa had loaded the home page was missing again (it had been present when I was working on band) and when I looked at ‘pages’ there were lots of pages including two home pages (neither designated as a front page) so I went to customizer manager as you mention above and reset this – however nothing has reset and spa is still missing a homepage?? This is getting really frustrating, I am assuming there is some kind of bug in my version of theme x?

We can only find that out by checking, would you mind providing your login credentials in private reply?

Please note that importing each demo may insert new copy of home page, and make sure your home page is properly set at Admin > Settings > Reading > Front page displays.

Hello There,

To avoid any issues when loading a demo content, you need to reset everything. You can make sue of the 3rd party plugin WP reset so that your WP installation will reset to a fresh install. This way all of the demo being loaded is fresh and will not be mixed up with other settings you might have while you used the other demo content. And by the way, before importing any demo content, please make sure that you have installed and activated the necessary plugin like Contact Form 7, Slider revolution and even the X Email Forms(mailChimp).
