Hello,
The background image in my slider is showing as blurry when published but not so in Photoshop. I’ve got it at up to 1900px wide and 600dpi. Nothing works.

The size is only big because of white spaces around it. You should increase its size and remove white spaces.

I did as requested. The resolution is okay, but the image is too small as seen in this screengrab. I changed it back on the live site as it did not look good.

When you edit the image and remove the white space, please also use large image for the image of a man. Each element size on that banner should be adjusted too. Please recreate the entire banner using large image of a man. adjust the text size on the middle, and also adjust the size of the book image.Hope this helps.
I’ve done that many times. Making the man larger make him even more blurry, even though the original image is over 4000px wide. The same goes for the book. What is the issue?

Can you give us the link of the large banner that was adjusted already? Accessing the banner directly from the URL shouldn’t be blurry. If this is not blurry it should be fine on SLIDER REVOLUTION when we use.
Here they are. They look ok as url, but when they get into the slider, even at exact dimensions, they get blurry.

The blurry effect happens when your small image is fitted on the larger screen.
Your image is simply too small compared to the screen you’re trying to view it. Example, on your provided screenshot here https://s3.amazonaws.com/community-themeco/app/uploads/2016/09/19130225/Screen-Shot-2016-09-19-at-1.00.09-PM.png, the image is smaller, that’s because your actual image is smaller than the width of your screen. Hence, forcing it to stretch will cause the blurry effect.
The solution is to upload an image with the same size of your target screen width. My question is, what’s the size of your monitor/screen you’re currently testing it on?
Even if you change your image to 4000px, but it still the same image then it will be the same. What you need is to redo your graphics and embed element with higher resolution. Scaling it to 4000px image is no difference in scaling it to 2000px screen size, it’s just same image but just stretched.
Example, http://pauldemocritou.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/Fiverr-slider8.jpg this image has the size of 1170px, and you just stretched it to 1920px http://pauldemocritou.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/Fiverr-slider10.jpg. It’s blurry, you just scaled up a small image. What you need is generate the new image from high-resolution design elements (retouching, photo editing).
