drold69ParticipantHi. I’m trying to understand why ‘long from the top’ is not working in my slider. It’s only moving a very short distance and is not functioning like it normally does. I have no idea why. I want it to come from the outside completely and move all the way down to where it ends up. That way it will kind of look like a banner unrolling. This is on the slider ‘5 Pillars Vitality Slider’. Have any recommendations. I’ve tried everything I could think of. How to I control the starting point and the end point?

LelyModeratorHi There,
Please use positive value for Y parameter. I’ve downloaded your slider to check the settings on my test site. See attached Screenshot on where to update.

drold69ParticipantI want it to come from off the screen on the top and move down to the bottom position where it looks like the lady is looking up at the banner coming down. Having a positive 25 Y value moves it down to the center and makes it worse than what I want. How come this works for every other long from any position but not this one? I know the words are vertical. It shouldn’t make a difference. Shouldn’t controlling the animation start and end point be on the Animation tab?

drold69ParticipantAgain, can you please read what I write so I don’t have to continue to wait and write back wasting both of our time. I understand you are busy, but me having to explain this over again does nothing to save you time. I already explained this up above. ‘Long from’ means it comes from a distance outside and comes onto the screen and ends at its end point. If I make it long from the left or long from the right or any OTHER time I used long from top and long from bottom it comes from off the screen and ends up where it is positioned. Just to reiterate, I want it coming from off the screen from the top to down to where its above the level of the only person on the screen where I have it right now. In your picture it is obvious that you didn’t even read what I wrote.

drold69ParticipantBTW the negative Y value was my attempt at correcting the problem. If you click on the other banners they are all positive 56. So no matter what I put in the Y value nothing changed.

RadModeratorHi there,
Another support here and I understand what you’re currently referring. But first of all, let’s fix this issue.

This issue won’t let me delete or change animation, and can’t test it through preview. We’ll continue once this is fixed.
Thanks!
