    Hi There,

    Please remove the rev slider or delete the rev slider then reinstall it again using the x ads on because the version you are using is not the compatible version for the latest version of X theme.

    The version compatible is 5.2.5.2 and you version is 5.2.5.3

    I cannot use the add-ons as I now get a permission error, which I did not have until the upgrade.
    Can someone please tell me where I can download the version of rev slider 5.2.5.2 as the rev slider in X download package is the higher version. Where can I download the lower version please????

    Thanks Jao, that is the one I downloaded and its the wrong version. I had to uninstall it because it errors. I was told by you to use the lower version, but I can’t find the lower version, although I did ask where I could get it. It’s now uninstalled. I had to use the layer slider as it did not conflict.

    I have been around and around in circles over this and all I did was update X, that’s all. Sent off to thread after thread.
    I did not have any permission errors until the upgrade.
    It’s been a real problem and I had to make do any way I could.

    I can’t use the add-ons via the wordpress theme now, I have to uploaded via FTP.
    So be it, I can’t go around any more circles.

    Hi Kim,

    The 5.2.5.3 version should be compatible as it comes bundled with the theme. We don’t have 5.2.5.2 prior to emergency bug fixes released on X 4.5.2, 3 days after 4.5.1.

    Your rev. slider issue might be related to your settings, it can be changed through Global settings, or Problem handlings setting. I like to change it but there is no slider, nor FTP login credentials.

    Please install the slider and let me investigate again, and please provide your FTP login credentials. I may able to find what causes the permission issue, but I can’t guarantee I can solve it if it’s host related.
