Hi there, I have an X theme website designed for a client and it includes a Rev slider at the top of it. Its also a One page site.

My client says that the company that holds most of her clients get strange results with the images and the rev slider. I think Ive fixed the images on the rest of the site, but Im not sure how to fix the rev slider issue. Her client sent me the attached image, which seems to have instructions. Does this make sense? Can you figure out a way to fix this problem? Ive spent ages trying to figure out myself but to no avail.

    Many thanks

    Hi there,

It looks okay from my end. But that issue could be due to multiple jQuery library or script conflict. Have you fixed it as well?

If not, please provide your login credentials in private reply for testing.

    Thanks!

    Hi there,

I have checked on my end and there is no such issue as I can see the slider correctly – http://prntscr.com/cycedm

Also I can’t see the console error either but the errors showing on your last screenshot seems related to some permission issue and you can ask your hosting provider for help if you can see on your end as well. It’s fine on my end so can’t suggest anything.

    Thanks!

    Hi There,

All questions are answered from oldest to newest. Please do not bump your own thread because it will send back to queue.

I did check the slider on your site, and it seems fine. I did not get any errors on my console. Could be a caching issue, please clear your browser’s cache. Also please provide us what machine and browser you’re into, it could be a browser and machine specific issue.

Revolution slider 5.3.0.1 is out that fixed some RS bug, please update the Revolution slider to make sure that this is now a compatibility issue.

    Thanks.

    Hi There,

We’ve just got the message from our developer regarding the recent update of Revslider. There is an issue of rev slider with some PHP versions and when parallax is enabled. Base on the message that we just receive, there is no alternative way or temporary way to fix this issue. The best that we could do is to wait for the next update.

Our developer have already personaly messaged themepunch and we are really hoping that they could push out another fix tomorrow. We will update as soon as possible to fix this issue.

Thank you so much for understanding.

    Thanks Nico,

Would that effect all images that aren’t using Rev slider?

Some more info: the people who are seeing errors are using Windows 7, is that not supported?

    Thanks

No, that won’t affect images that are outside the slider.

I checked your site and everything displays fine though. The slider is working. Please tell your client to clear their browser cache.

All major operating systems are supported. They might be using Internet Explorer version 8 or lower though which are no longer supported.

    Thanks.
