JulianwolfParticipantHi themeco Team!
I want to modify a page like this: http://julianpostolachi.com/modello-articolo/
And I want to:
1) Add a margin to the text
2) How can I add a bar with “competences” like this: http://demo2.massivedynamic.co/seo/?demo=seo (research, experience…)?
3)How can I add more space between the text and the slider?
Thanks 😀October 20, 2016 at 9:01 pm #1224830
Rue NelModeratorHello There,
Thanks for writing in!
1] To add a margin to the texts, please edit your page again and make sure that you have enabled the column container which you can find in the content band settings.
2] Regretfully, at this time I am not entirely certain what it is you would like to accomplish based on the information given in your post. If you wouldn’t mind providing us with a little more clarification on what it is you’re wanting to do (a link to a similar example site would be very helpful, or perhaps some screenshots), we’ll be happy to provide you with a response once we have a better understanding of the situation.
3] Please insert a gap element between the text and slider.
Hope this helps.

LelyModeratorHi Julian,
1.)Please separate the text on to different content band. Add another content band and then move the text there. Then add padding left and padding right to this content band so the text will have space from the edge of the browser. This will also solve #3 because by default content band has 40px top padding. This will add vertical space between the text and slider.
2.)On your sample site, it using a flexslider. But then we can achieve that too using 5 columns and then image and custom headline and then text element.
Hope this helps.

JulianwolfParticipantThanks thery much but for the first “problem” I’ve used the css:
padding-right: 10%; padding-left: 10%;October 21, 2016 at 12:11 am #1224976
JulianwolfParticipantWhat do you mean with custom headline?

LelyModeratorHi Julian,
You’re welcome.
You can use Custom Headline element for bold text that seems like title or just normal text then make it bold.Hope this helps.

FriechModeratorHi There,
Regretfully, I am not seeing any citation on that page. Please provide us with a little more clarification (perhaps some screenshots), we’ll be happy to provide you with a response once we have a better understanding of the situation.

JulianwolfParticipantthat have a mountain background
October 22, 2016 at 2:03 pm #1226694
JulianwolfParticipantAnd another question: what’s the difference, in content band, between padding top and paddiing bottom?
thanksOctober 22, 2016 at 4:40 pm #1226752
RadModeratorHi there,
It should add space on top and below your content within the content band. That will increase your content band’s height and will also vertically align your citation. You should try that, it’s currently set to padding top 300px, instead , change it to 25% top, and 25% bottom.
Hope this helps.
