    Hi,

1.) I understand i don’t need to touch the front page setting when i want latest posts. BUT, won’t it make sense if that option does work or not? I dont see a reason why it should not work…

2.) Cornerstone is drunk. Let’s forget about archive or any other kind for that matter.. it just wont open.

    3.) i understand.

4.) I dont mind giving the link, but you wont see the x theme because (let me say it once more) – it does not work. Im using a free theme currently, and i do get visitors, and i cant just set the x theme and let visitors see a blank page.

Let me delete and install the theme once again, and i will update here.

    Hello There,

I would recommend that you create a staging area. It would be very helpful for us if we can actually see and do a test in your site. Somehow doing it in your staging area will help a lot. Please do set up a staging area so that we can play around, do a series of test to help your with your issue. It is very hard to give support by just assuming anything or we may not be on the same page.

To create a staging area, please check out this article:
    http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-create-staging-environment-for-a-wordpress-site/
    https://maintainn.com/2015/02/how-to-create-a-staging-site-for-wordpress/

Please let us know how it goes.

    Hi There,

Thank you for the credentials and we’re sorry that you’re having this issue.
I can see that you’re not using X theme at the moment and this is a live site. To check the issue we need to see X theme as active. We need permission that we can activate X theme while we test to see that when it is active the homepage is not showing your blog post and it appears as blank. We need to check if there are conflicts that is preventing the post from displaying.

    Permission granted.
Just make sure when you’re done testing, the website should be in a working condition.

    Hello There,

Upon checking, I can see that there’s something that preventing the masonry type from displaying. Standard display is working as expected. You can switch to standard on Appearance > Customize > Blog. You could try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time. If the issue still exists, please try setting up a staging site so we can check further. We would love to check and investigate further but this should be done on a staging site and not on a live one. Thank you for understanding

The “latest post” and the “static page” is now visible, i think the plugin autoptimize was creating a conflict.
Cornerstone however is still not working.

You asked my server details, i gave it. You ask my permission to test on my server – i gave it. I don’t understand why you can’t make the theme work now?

I have backups, so we can revert to the previous state if something messes up…sorry but i wont be able to create a staging area, since my hosting does not allow subdomains, and i wont be able to create it.

Let’s not waste any more time. We can either fix the theme issues on my website or refund my money so i can buy some theme that works.

    Thanks

    Hi There,

We are here to help you with whatever you need but often we will count on your collaboration to achieve what you are looking for, as Lely mentioned it you could´ve tried testing for plugin conflicts.

As it seems you didn´t feel like doing it I went ahead and did it for you. Cloudfare plugin is what causing conflict and if you turn it off your home page with latest posts will work well and so will masonry style.

Based on that it is very probably your cloudfare setup is what is causing the issue with Cornerstone.

So kindly turn off Cloudfare plugin and please do the following steps to bypass the issue with Cloudflare and Cornerstone.

    1) Login to CloudFlare and go to Page Rules
    2) Create a new page rule
    3) In the page rule link put: *.yourdomain.com/*?cornerstone=1* Type this exactly how it’s seen including the * and replace yourdomain with the name of your domain
    4) Leave everything the same but change settings:

    Custom Caching: Bypass Caching
Browser cache expire TTL: 30 minutes
    Always Online: OFF
    Performance: OFF

    Hope that helps,

    Joao

” you could´ve tried testing for plugin conflicts.” — I did, and cornerstone still did not work.

“As it seems you didn´t feel like doing it. I went ahead and did it for you” — Cornerstone still does not work.

    2) Create a new page rule
    3) In the page rule link put: *.yourdomain.com/*?cornerstone=1* Type this exactly how it’s seen including the * and replace yourdomain with the name of your domain
    4) Leave everything the same but change settings: — Cornerstone still does not work.

Following is the screenshot for the pagerule on cloudflare –

(ps – i don’t intend to be mean, but guys, you’re the experts in your theme. You know the usual problems, and you know the x theme better than me. I’m sure that whatever can be done with the staging is possible with the live website. Let me know what other collaboration you need.)

Adding on – When i put cloudflare on “develpment mode”, which means cloudflare cache is passed completely to the server — Cornerstone still does not work.

It seems cloudflare might not be the problem here.

    Hi there,

CloudFlare has another feature, it’s the rocket loader. Your site’s scripts are currently loaded by Rocket loader, asynchronously. That means, the correct order of script dependencies aren’t followed, hence, breaking it. Please try disabling it too.

    Thanks!

Rocketloader was the culprit. Cloudflare plugin works fine btw.
Thanks for the fix, and apologies for the heated words.
