onemanparsonsParticipantI’m having the same issue as numerous other people here. I can’t import demo content. I would like to import the Church expanded demo.
PHP memory limit is set to 256M. Even at 512M I can’t get the import to work. Please help!

FriechModeratorHi There,
Thanks for writing in! Please revoke and re-validated your site, you can follow the guide provided here.
If that does not work, please contact your hosting support and confirm the following:
- installing cURL support for PHP – site can reach this domain: community.theme.co - firewall is not blocking requests to theme.co – allow_url_fopen is enabled.Let us know how it goes.
Cheers!

onemanparsonsParticipantI’ve now increased the memory limit to 512MB again. The problem still persists.
What can be causing this issue? The frustrating thing is that a number of people are having this issue and having to go through this troubleshooting process.
Please let me know what the next steps are to resolve this.

Rue NelModeratorHello There,
I have tried to logged to your ftp to fixed the issue. Regretfully I could find the correct directory. All I am seeing is just blank or empty folder.

If you wouldn’t mind, please correct the ftp details for us so that we can continue checking on the files and fix this issue for you.
Thank you in advance.

RadModeratorHi there,
It’s due to CURL timeout, I changed it to 60 seconds and import works now. I went ahead and imported the church demo.
Cheers!

ChristopherModeratorHi there,
I see following error :
x-addons-home.min.js?ver=4.6.4:1 X Demo Importer failure Objectdebug: nulldebug_message: "cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 4828 milliseconds with 220528 out of 281298 bytes received"message: "We're sorry, the demo failed to finish importing.Would you mind to confirm the following to your hosting.
– Ensure my site can reach this domain: community.theme.co – Ensure cURL is working, and allow_url_fopen is enabled. – Ensure PHP is configured with the latest CA Root Certificates.Looks like hosting’s cURL is compiled with 4-5 seconds timeout. You may try to contact your hosting provider to increase the timeout. Other possible reason is that there is a security or firewall that blocks your site from connecting to our servers.
Hope it helps.
