japsteven23ParticipantHi,
I have some issues working with Cornerstone that just happened recently.
The Layout and Inspector menus went blank when I selected some sections/elements. They are mainly the Sections, Images and Creative CTA. Sometimes I can access the Sections from the Layout menu, but at times it shows up blank as well.
After looking around the forum, I’ve done the following:
– added the necessary Cloudflare rules
– disabled caching plugins
– purged caching everywhere
But the issue still remains.Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks!November 20, 2015 at 11:13 pm #673857

Rue NelModeratorHello There,
We could not login to your WP dashboard. This is what we are seeing: http://prntscr.com/956egk
Are you using Cloudflare? The Cornerstone builder takes place on the front end, so sometimes Cloudfare tries to cache its resources. This can cause stale data to be loaded. To resolve this, you’ll need to disable Cloudfare when the builder is in use. This won’t effect front end performance at all.
1. Log into CloudFlare and navigate to “Page Rules”
2. Add a new rule using this URL pattern: *.example.com/*?cornerstone=1
3. Under custom caching, enable “Bypass cache”
4. Turn Performance “Off”If you’re still having issues editing a page, you may need to login to Cloudfare again and purge the cache.
Hope this helps. Kindly let us know.

RupokMemberHi there,
Thanks for updating. We still couldn’t get into your dashboard as it’s still restricted. I am another staff from another part of the world so unblocking some IP won’t help. Please disable the protection so that we can access your website and investigate the issue further.
Cheers!

Paul RModeratorHi,
Upon checking, I can see your site is returning 500 internal server error.
http://screencast.com/t/rInYrBLYD0
I would try checking with your hosting provider on this particular issue as it sounds like something related to your setup is causing this. Typically, this is due server configuration problems (i.e. underpowered, traceroute issues, packet loss, permissions errors, et cetera). Additionally, your host will be able to diagnose things much better due to the fact that they have a more complete view of your account and can work behind the scenes with you. If the problem you are experiencing persists after working with your host, don’t hesitate to let us know and we will be happy to assist you. Any relevant information that you can share with us from your host is also greatly appreciated as it will help us to better ascertain the source of the problem.

ZeshanMemberHi there,
I’m getting 403 Forbidden error in your WordPress admin login page. Our staff is located in different locations so it is best if you can disable IP restriction so we can investigate the issue.
Thank you!

japsteven23ParticipantHello,
Apologies for that. I’ve just disabled the restriction.
Hope it works now. -
