It’s not hosting related – a bunch of people are having the same issues (on the wordpress steam they’re waiting to hear how I resolved the issue- I’m going to tell them to revert back to an old backup pre-cornerstone update.

And yes, when we deleted Cornerstone altogether from my site, the fatal error issue resolved and I then reinstalled the OLD verion (pre-buggy current version) onto my site and it’s as good as it was before the update.

Hey Leanne,

Have you tried:

1. Updating X first
2. Delete Cornerstone in plugins folder via FTP

Going back to WP admin, X will install the latest version of Cornerstone automatically.

You mentioned your on SiteGround. Have you made modifications to the staging site and then pushed everything to the live site?

I am having the same issue. I can no longer drag and drop. As soon as I try to drag an item on the page, it shoots up and won’t allow me to place my item where I want it. I tried placing it in a row above and slowly move it down…. nothing!!!
I will try deleting Cornerstone from the plugins folder and have you reinstall it.

Thanks for writing in! Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:

– Link to your site
– WordPress Admin username / password
– FTP credentials

Don’t forget to select Set as private reply. This ensures your information is only visible to our staff.

In the meantime, please do a testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

Please try using a different browser too (Firefox or Chrome).
