Hi, my cornerstone stopped working properly in the last day, since I updated to the newest version.

Now when I try to drag any elements, they end up jumping up on the page, and when I try to drag them down again, they jump up even further.

Can you let me know how to fix it? Right now I can’t do any edits on any of my pages using Cornerstone.

    Thank you!
    My website is http://catalyticcolor.com

Also, I’m getting script conflict messages from google chrome and firefox on this page:

    http://CatalyticColor.com/creative-flow-programs

I really need to be able to edit this page today so any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks!

Also, whenever I try to add any new elements, they don’t drop in – they jump way up on the page so I can’t even add a brand new element to try to workaround the cornerstone drag and drop issue.

    Please help!!

    Thank you!

I checked the date that I updated to the latest version of Cornerstone and X theme – it was 2 days ago – 4/17 at 19:43 pm CST

so, yep, the problems are connected with the latest theme update

Think you can help me get it working again?

    Thanks!

    Hi there,

    Thanks for writing in! 🙂

I’ve just tried to check this for you, but get invalid login details, could you double check the details provided?

When checking the website logged out, there’s a couple of plugins that may be worth disabling to see if they are conflicting somehow, try disabling Bloom and Jetpack. Once we have access, we’ll be happy to debug this for you. 🙂

    Thank you!

I couldn’t wait any longer so I had to revert my site to a version prior to the Cornerstone plugin update.

Just to give you an update as to where things are now… I had my fantastically awesome, life-saving hosting server, Siteground, go in and revert my site to before the Cornerstone and x theme update. going back to an earlier version of my site caused a fatal error that was directly linked to bad files in Cornerstone.

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class Cornerstone_Router in /home/_________/public_html/catalyticcolor.com/wp-content/plugins/cornerstone1/includes/classes/common/class-router.php on line 470

The Siteground tech person completely deleted Cornerstone from my site and told me if I needed the plugin to reinstall it.

So I did a reinstall and now Cornerstone (the old version prior to the update) is working again.

I disconnected my site from Xtheme so it wouldn’t do an automatic update and break my site again.

I don’t know if you’ll be able to troubleshoot the problems with the new Cornerstone from my site since I’m back on an old version and I’m being prompted to update the plugin (which is how I plan to keep it until X figures out the problems with the new version).

I DO know my situation with Cornerstone crashing is not an isolated incident since I posted on the WordPress X theme group to see if other people were having the same issues with Cornerstone and there were others experiencing the exact same problems since the Cornerstone and X theme latest update was released.

If you go into my site to have a look around, please DON’T UPDATE ANY plugins or change anything – especially not Cornerstone. (I don’t think it’s possible since I disconnected the link for auto updates, but you never know).

I’m in the middle of doing my time-sensitive updates and it’s working fine now and I need to get these done before updating any other plugins on my site.

Hopefully this will give you some useful information to fix the bugs in the latest X and Cornerstone plugin.

    Thanks!

For anyone reading this, Siteground is an AMAZING hosting site – their customer support and tech support is outstanding – you always IMMEDIATELY get someone knowledgeable on the phone and if you ever have to get something done that the advanced tech team needs to work on, they always take care of it in under 15 minutes – this is the 2nd time they’ve bailed me out after a Cornerstone update crashed my site!

Other than the crashes with the Cornerstone updates, I love X theme, though. 🙂

I have the same exact issue friends. Went to edit my home page after new install and tried to drag a recent posts into the block and it kept scrolling me up. I can provide login details etc. Let me know.

I wasted 2 full days trying to resolve it to no avail – the only way that appears to fix the problem is to revert to the old version of Cornerstone from your backup files. Hopefully they’ll fix Cornerstone soon. For now, I’m avoiding the new version like the plague! lol

@Leannevenier, We’ll continue looking into it. If it’s hosting related then we’ll let you know 🙂

    But about this error,

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class Cornerstone_Router in /home/_________/public_html/catalyticcolor.com/wp-content/plugins/cornerstone1/includes/classes/common/class-router.php on line 470

This means you have two active cornerstone plugin, this one is named cornerstone1. There should be only one active cornerstone, redeclaring classes and functions will cause fatal error.

    @Ravensfan
, Yes, please provide your login credentials in a separate thread while linking back here. And if possible a screen recording displaying the issue.

    Thanks!
