    Hi there,

    X theme and its plugin don’t have the capability to block request or URL. It’s always related to hosting or security features installed on your site.

    This is the actual error, 403 (Forbidden)

    Please check this http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-fix-the-403-forbidden-error-in-wordpress/

    I really love to help, but it’s beyond our capability as we don’t have control over it.

    Thanks for understanding.

    Hi again!

    My host is willing to help me but doesn’t understand how. He said there is nothing which block and would like to have more details on what is not working/blocking in order to know what he should be doing to make the pluggin work.
    He said that if you search what is wrong then you should get a report which is more detailed and from that he might be able to help me.
    Could you do that and send the report to me? Or tell me how do I search (if it’s possible) or connect me with convertplug developers?
    I really need that pluggin to work.
    Thanks for your answer.

    Hi there,

    Thanks for writing back!

    Could you let us know who you’re hosting with, please? Your host should have access to an error log, access log and a query log, unfortunately, all we can see is that it responds with a 403, by checking the query log and error log that could have more information which will help debug the issue further.

    If you could ask your host for those logs that would be great. 🙂

    Thanks!

    Hi!

    My host told me he couldn’t find any error from his side…
    I have uninstall and reinstall convertplug and now I have this message showing in wordpress :
    “Error : Please fix your theme to make plugins work correctly. Go to the Theme Editor and insert the following string: <?php wp_head(); ?> Please enter it just before the following line of your header.php file: </head> Go to your theme editor: click here.”
    I would gladly do it but the thing is, when I got in the header.php file this: </head> isn’t here so I don’t know where to actually put the string they want me to.

    could you help?
    Thanks!

    Hi there,

    That error is nothing to do with ConvertPlugin, and the plugin you’re using to scan header.php is only looking in one location. X theme uses wp_head() or else it will not work. It’s on different location since X theme is based on stacks.

    403 Forbidden is a security setting that blocks requests or URL. If it’s 503 internal servers then I’ll agree that it’s more on script or system error. But it’s not, it’s forbidden which means you’re not allowed. That setting is only configurable through your hosting and not with the theme or plugin.

    Your host doesn’t need to find the error and there is no script/system error, they only need to fix the 403 forbidden by changing some setting on their end. Please provide this to them,

    http://www.zumbasol.se/wp-admin/admin.php?page=smile-modal-designer&style-view=edit&action=new&style=cp_id_6b00b&theme=blank Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 403 (Forbidden)

    And whitelist it.

    Thanks!

    Hi!

    My host answered me that:

    “It’s the following code in /zumbasol.se/public_html/wp-admin/includes/menu.php which put the 403 status, not a blocking from the server,

    if ( !user_can_access_admin_page() ) {

    /**
    * Fires when access to an admin page is denied.
    *
    * @since 2.5.0
    */
    do_action( ‘admin_page_access_denied’ );

    wp_die( __( ‘You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.’ ), 403 );
    }

    Then he add: ” The easiest would be to check with the script supplier. It should be included in the pluggin support”

    Can you help?
    Thank you!!

    Hi there,

    Then it’s actually blocking your account even if it’s administrator. Would you mind providing your correct FTP login credentials as well? There is no reason for an admin account to be blocked, the provided information by your host isn’t enough. For the meantime, please try re-installing it. Another possible reason is the plugin isn’t properly registered the callbacks on admin.

    Thanks!

    Hi there,

    I tried finding the issue, but no luck. The issue is that &action=new in the URL isn’t permitted. I tried all other URL and it works. It could be that action slug isn’t registered along with admin menu (permission).

    You may contact the plugin author here, https://convertplugonx.freshdesk.com/support/tickets/new

    Thanks!

    Hi!

    I have sent my question but didn’t get any answer on my email so I went to link you gave me to check ticket status from there but when I enter my email to get in, here’s the answer I got ” You are not authorised to access this portal. Kindly contact your helpdesk administrator.”

    Could you tell me how I will get the answer from the developer?
    Thank you!
