melissamaryseParticipantHi!
I am facing a problem with convertplug which is not working at all.
I have installed it but when I click on a template to select it a page opens showing “You don’t have enough permission to access this page”. I’ve search everywhere and didn’t manage to fix this. Could you please help me?
Also I have update wordpress, in case it has something to do with it.
Thanks a lot!

ChristopherModeratorHi there,
Please check this link https://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_File_Permissions and make sure you’ve set folders permission correctly.
Hope it helps.

melissamaryseParticipantHi Christopher and thank you for your answer. I haven’t set any folders permissions (I have even no idea of what it is :)) and I don’t know where to find that /wp-content/.
In the link you sent it’s written that ” some plugins require the /wp-content/ folder be made writeable, but in such cases they will let you know during installation. ” and convertplug didn’t let me know anything when I activated it.
Could you help me further? And since I am asking for help, the icons won’t display om my screen. I am using chrome and checked with explorer and the same thing happen. I don’t know how to fix it. Could you help here too?
Thanks a lot!!

RupokMemberHi Melissa,
Thanks for updating. I understand you haven’t change any folder permission and we are not saying that. The permission might vary host to host, server to server based on the security level or configuration.
So you need to check the directory and make sure they are set to right permission. Please try /checking/resetting your WordPress files and folders permissions. The correct settings can be found at http://www.smashingmagazine.com/2014/05/08/proper-wordpress-filesystem-permissions-ownerships/
Hope this makes sense.

melissamaryseParticipantHi!
I have checked wp-content/ plugins / convertplug/ admin and permission is 644. If I understood well, it should work. Or should I changed it or look somewhere else?
Otherwise can I just uninstall and then reinstall convertplug?
Thanks!

Paul RModeratorHi Melissa,
The permission is correct, you can try reinstalling by deleting the convertplug folder in wp-content/plugins then add it back via Addons > Home.
Thanks
