RazaHussParticipantI used my license on a previous website that is no longer active and unassigned the license to reassign to a new website I will be working on. I read in the FAQ that I lose validation? Does this mean I need to purchase a new license if I want to use the extensions?

Prasant RaiModeratorHello There,
Thanks for writing in!
Since the previous website is not active, what you can do it assign the purchase code to the new website. However we have updated our validation process, in that regards request you to please walk-through our knowledgebase article:
https://community.theme.co/kb/product-validation/
Thanks.

RazaHussParticipantThank you for replying.
I have assigned the purchase code to the new domain, however that’s where I get the error.
I have also looked at the product validation page and that did not clarify my problem. When I enter the purchase code into the new domain it says, “uh oh, could not get validated” try again. Or something along those lines.

JoaoModeratorHello There,
Turn of all cache and security plugins and do the following:
1] Please go to X Addons > Home and revoke the validation.
2] Please login to your account and revoke the license. https://community.theme.co/my-account/
3] After you have revoke the license, you need to re assign the license again to your site using this url: https://www.your-domain.com/. You have to make sure that url you just assign is the same as the one you have in your settings, Settings > General > Site Address
4] Go back to X Addons > Home again, and insert the license again.Hope this helps.
Thanks
Joao

RazaHussParticipantThank you for responding. I will give that a try.
When I deleted the old domain I did not revoke the license from the website before hand. Would that make a difference?

JoaoModeratorHi There,
It is unlikely, follow the instructions above and let us know how it goes.
Thanks

RazaHussParticipantThe above suggestion did not work.
1. I cannot revoke the validation because I was never able to validate it with this website in the first place.
2. I don’t see an option to revoke the license?
3. https://www.your-domain.com URL does not work.I have attached the image of the issue. When I click on “Error Details” above, it states “Plugin file does not exist”
I installed x through FTP and all the files were successful. So I do not think it was a bad installation.
I’m not sure what I can do…July 20, 2016 at 10:11 pm #1096384

RazaHussParticipantIs unassigning the site and revoking the license the same thing?
If not how do I revoke the license?Edit: I don’t see an option to revoke the license anywhere.
July 21, 2016 at 1:47 pm #1097420
DarshanaModeratorHi there,
Yes, revoking means unassigning your site URL from the relevant purchase code as mentioned in our product validation guide (https://community.theme.co/kb/product-validation/).
It seems that you haven’t installed Cornerstone on your site, which needed to function your validation process correctly.
Please try installing Cornerstone and then follow our product validation guide.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks!July 21, 2016 at 5:59 pm #1097797
RazaHussParticipantIf you look at the screenshot I provided, it says cornerstone has been installed, but could not be automatically activated.
Edit: By doing the post below, I was able to activate cornerstone plugin. However, the issue is still there where I cannot validate the x theme.
July 21, 2016 at 6:05 pm #1097798
RazaHussParticipantI unzipped the cornerstone file and uploaded it in the correct folder via FTP and thought that would solve the problem but it has not.

RadModeratorHi there,
Based on your screenshots, the response header is empty. That means something is blocking the connection between our server and your site. Please contact your hosting and make sure our IPs are unblocked. Please refer to this thread https://community.theme.co/forums/topic/my-license-will-not-validate/ for the IPs.
Maybe you’re on same hosting, what you have on your screenshots is the same result on his site.
Thanks!
