    Hey Nathan,

    This is more likely that this is a problem with your server configuration, and that it is unable to make outgoing network connections, or that somehow theme.co is blocked by a firewall.

    Upon visiting http://www.vettr.com.au/wp-admin/admin.php?page=x-addons-extensions&force-check=1&x-verbose=1 I get a You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page. error (see attachment).

    Your site must connect to theme.co in order for addons to be displayed.

    Can you try contacting your webhost. Here is a form letter you may use:

    Hello [provider],

    My WordPress installation is having a hard time making outbound HTTP requests. I’m using X theme and it makes a request to theme.co for setting up automatic updates. Here is the error message I’m receiving:

    [screenshot, or copy/paste the verbose error message (see above regarding the &x-verbose flag)]

    Could you please do the following?

    – Ensure my site can reach this domain: community.theme.co
    – Ensure cURL is working, and allow_url_fopen is enabled.
    – Ensure PHP is configured with the latest CA Root Certificates.
    – Check into the error message above.

    Please advise on anything you discover. Thank you.

    Hi there, Its literally taken 5 hours to re-validate my license, and give you my ftp details. I know you have lots of tickets, but this is a very expensive theme, advertised with 24/7 365 support. I need assistance to resolve this issue asap. Thanks.

    That is ok.

    Please contact your hosting company as requested and let us know what they tell you, we believe the issue will be solved once you contact them and they perform the requested permission changes.

    Hi Joao,

    Thanks for the assistance. You were correct. My host was having a DDoS attack and had to block certain international traffic.

    I appreciate your assistance.
