Antony HParticipantI just updated to the latest version of ‘X’ and Cornerstone [not sure what the previous version was sorry!] and now, when I create new pages the buttons show as the default ‘X’ style [red] rather than how I set them up to be in the Customizer.
Existing pages aren’t affected but new ones are. Can you help please?

Antony HParticipantAlso Cornerstone is playing up a bit. Custom Headlines are appearing much larger and they don’t have the ‘Looks Like xxxx’ field. Thanks for looking into this guys.

Paul RModeratorHi,
To fix it, you can add this under Custom > CSS in the Customizer.
#cs-content .x-btn { color: rgb(41,169,225); border-color: #29a9e1; background-color: hsl(0,0%,100%); border-radius: 0; box-shadow: none; } #cs-content .x-btn:hover { color: rgb(41,169,225); border-color: #94d4f0; background-color: hsl(0,0%,100%); }I would like to check the issue with cornerstone but the login provided above no longer works.

Antony HParticipantHi there thanks for getting back to me.
Unfortunately, the code you provided didn’t seem to do anything.
Also, the hover effect on the recent posts element has also defaulted to the standard red colour rather than the custom blue I was using before [set in Customizer].
I just checked the login and it works okay, if it’s case sensitive maybe try just the first letter of the username in caps and the rest in lowercase.
Thanks!

Paul RModeratorHi Antony,
Kindly change the code to this.
body #cs-content .x-btn { color: rgb(41,169,225); border-color: #29a9e1; background-color: hsl(0,0%,100%); border-radius: 0; box-shadow: none; } body #cs-content .x-btn:hover { color: rgb(41,169,225); border-color: #94d4f0; background-color: hsl(0,0%,100%); }With regards to your custom headline, could you try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

Antony HParticipantHi Paul,
Thanks for this. The new code doesn’t work. It kind of half works! It creates a thin blue box with no text in it and on hover it reverts to the Themeco default red button.
All plugins [apart from Cornerstone] are now deactivated but the Cornerstone issue persists I’m afraid.

Paul RModeratorHi,
I went ahead and made some adjustments to the code and this is how it works on my end.

Can you try reinstalling cornerstone.
Login to ftp and delete cornerstone in wp-content/plugins then navigate to wp dashboard > addons.
Thanks

Antony HParticipantThanks Paul,
That’s much better but still not quite to how it was before. Please see the PRODUCT page I linked to above – the button should work just that if possible please.
I’ll do as you suggest with Cornerstone now. Did you see my post about the hover effect on recent posts?
What is causing these issues please?

JoaoModeratorHi There,
It seems to be working on my end,
Would you mind providing a mockup of how you expect the button to loo like,
It is blue with a slim border and when I hover it it has a lighter blue.
Let us know more details,
Thanks
Joao

Antony HParticipantAt this side the button text is still invisible until I hover on it [on the live site] I’m attaching a screen shot to show you. To see how the button should work, please see http://freshly-squeezed-design.co.uk/mkoa/product/one-more/ – this button is from before the theme was updated.

Antony HParticipantOkay, just to clarify I followed your instructions but still no joy! I deactivated Cornerstone and removed it via FTP. I then manually reinstalled it. The following issues still persist:
1. Button styling doesn’t match the Customizer
2. Custom Headlines are larger and don’t have the ‘Looks like xxxx’ option.
3. Hover colour on recent posts is the default red and not the blue I set in the Customizer.Thanks.
