EPLParticipantHi,
I just updated to 4.6.4. When I checked my page, I realized that Icons are no longer working. For example in the menu <i class=”x-icon x-icon-envelope”></i> is no longer working. The same happens with icons in buttons as well as with social media icons in the footer.
Can anyone help me? Thank you very much in advance!
PS: My site is: http://erfolgreich-projekte-leiten.de/

RahulModeratorHey There,
Thanks for writing in!
Can you be a little more specific? We have checked the given URL and all the icon links are working perfectly fine.
Thanks for understanding!

FriechModeratorHi There,
Your site is requesting the fontAwesome files in a wrong path.
Please do a testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
If that does not work, try deactivate the parent X|Theme.
Let us know how it goes.
Cheers!

EPLParticipantHi,
thanks for your response! I narrowed it down to W3 Total Chache.
When I searched for “W3 total cache + fontawesome” I realized, that this is happening for some other users as well. But until now I was not able to fix the problem… 🙁

Rue NelModeratorHello There,
Thanks for the updates!
To resolve this issue, please insert this following code in your child theme’s functions.php file.
// Enable legacy font classes add_filter( 'cornerstone_legacy_font_classes', '__return_true' ); // =============================================================================And please clear your cache first before testing your site.
Hope this helps.

RadModeratorHi there,
There are multiple issues, even jQuery and Modernzr library aren’t loaded due to cache. Have you tried clearing the cache? Please provide your admin and FTP login credentials in private reply. I may need to directly delete the cache content through FTP.
Thanks!
