    Hi, I have the header left-fixed, and now I want to add two widget areas to the navbar, one down the menu for social icons, and the other one fixed to the bottom-left corner (Where I want to put a link to the privacy terms)

    The URL of my site is: http://la-marketingonlinevalencia.com

    Thank you for your support.

    Hi,

    Thanks for writing in! Regretfully this isn’t a feature offered by X. It could be possible with custom development, but this would be outside the scope of support we can offer. You may wish to consult a developer to assist you with this. X is quite extensible with child themes, so there are plenty of possibilities. Thanks for understanding. Take care!

    Maybe I didn’t expressed properly, what I just want is to add one of the widget areas that I can create with the sidebars plugin included with the theme to the header (Or move the header widget areas down the navbar instead of using the tab on the right corner).

    Thank you in advance.

    Thanks for writing in! Regretfully, at this time I am not entirely certain what it is you would like to accomplish based on the information given in your post. If you wouldn’t mind providing us with a little more clarification on what it is you’re wanting to do (a link to a similar example site would be very helpful, or perhaps some screenshots), we’ll be happy to provide you with a response once we have a better understanding of the situation.

    I want to put social icons widget down the header menu, like the owner of this page did with the phone and link: http://www.anib.ca.php53-11.ord1-1.websitetestlink.com/

    Thanks!

    Hello There,

    Thanks for writing in!

    To implement social icons to navigation bar we request you to kindly walk-through following thread:

    https://community.theme.co//forums/topic/navigation-bar-and-social-icons/

    Hope that helps.

    Thanks.

    I created the _navbar.php as the staff say in the topic, but I have the next error:

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘php’ (T_STRING) in /homepages/12/d535430310/htdocs/wp-content/themes/x-child/framework/views/global/_navbar.php on line 9

    I have been reading the code and it is for top header, I have it left-fixed, would that code work anyway?

    What I just want is to add “Easy Social Icon” widget like in this picture:

    Hi there,

    Please update the code in _navbar.php file to :

    <?php

    // =============================================================================
    // VIEWS/GLOBAL/_NAVBAR.PHP
    // -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
    // Outputs the navbar.
    // =============================================================================

    $navbar_position = x_get_navbar_positioning();
    $logo_nav_layout = x_get_logo_navigation_layout();
    $is_one_page_nav = x_is_one_page_navigation();

    ?>

    <?php if ( ( $navbar_position == 'static-top' || $navbar_position == 'fixed-top' || $is_one_page_nav ) && $logo_nav_layout == 'stacked' ) : ?>

      <div class="x-logobar">
        <div class="x-logobar-inner">
          <div class="x-container max width">
            <?php x_get_view( 'global', '_brand' ); ?>
          </div>
        </div>
      </div>

      <div class="x-navbar-wrap">
        <div class="<?php x_navbar_class(); ?>">
          <div class="x-navbar-inner">
            <div class="x-container max width">
              <?php x_get_view( 'global', '_nav', 'primary' ); ?>
            </div>
          </div>
        </div>
      </div>

    <?php else : ?>

      <div class="x-navbar-wrap">
        <div class="<?php x_navbar_class(); ?>">
          <div class="x-navbar-inner">
            <div class="x-container max width">
              <?php x_get_view( 'global', '_brand' ); ?>
              <?php x_get_view( 'global', '_nav', 'primary' ); ?>
              <div class="x-social-global"><a href="#holder" class="facebook" title="Facebook" target="_blank"><i class="x-icon-facebook-square" data-x-icon=""></i></a><a href="#holder" class="twitter" title="Twitter" target="_blank"><i class="x-icon-twitter-square" data-x-icon=""></i></a><a href="#holder" class="google-plus" title="Google+" target="_blank"><i class="x-icon-google-plus-square" data-x-icon=""></i></a><a href="#holder" class="linkedin" title="LinkedIn" target="_blank"><i class="x-icon-linkedin-square" data-x-icon=""></i></a><a href="#holder" class="pinterest" title="Pinterest" target="_blank"><i class="x-icon-pinterest-square" data-x-icon=""></i></a><a href="#holder" class="dribbble" title="Dribbble" target="_blank"><i class="x-icon-dribbble" data-x-icon=""></i></a><a href="#holder" class="rss" title="RSS" target="_blank"><i class="x-icon-rss-square" data-x-icon=""></i></a></div>
            </div>
          </div>
        </div>
      </div>

    <?php endif; ?>

    Add this CSS as well :

    .x-navbar  .x-social-global a {
      margin: 0 1.25%;
      font-size: 21px;
    }

    Hope it helps.

    Thanks for your help, I tried it but it gives me the same error:

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘php’ (T_STRING) in /homepages/12/d535430310/htdocs/wp-content/themes/x-child/framework/views/global/_navbar.php on line 9

    Hi,

    It’s because you are using a very old version of the theme.

    Please update your theme and bundled plugins to latest versions.

    Latest Versions are:

    Xtheme Version 4.0.4
    Cornerstone Version 1.0.3
    Revolution slider Version 4.6.93
    Visual Composer Version 4.5.3
    X-shortcodes – deprecated (replaced by cornerstone plugin)

    If you find anything to be out of date, you can review our update guide.

    Thanks

    Hi, I downloaded and installed the theme this week, everything is updated, so the problem is not there

    Hi there,

    Thanks for the logins!

    I created a file and added the provided code, it is working just fine at my end (see: http://prntscr.com/7qmuuz). Also insert the following provided CSS code under Custom > CSS in the Customizer:

    .x-navbar  .x-social-global a {
      margin: 0 1.25%;
      font-size: 21px;
    }

    Hope this helps. 🙂

    Thank you.

    Right now I have the social links working, but there are not the ones that i fixed on theme options, where can I change the URL of those icons?

    I just need Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram

    And the CSS code you provided don’t works to me, I want to add some margin between icons, increase their size to 24px (More or less) and add some margins at the left and top of the icons (Between the menu and the border of the page).

    Thank you so much for your support, you are the best!
