Updated to Pro 1.2.4 and now Front End Broken

I updated to Pro 1.2.4 and now WordPress frontend does not work.
I needed to go back to a restored version.
Is this a known problem??

Would you mind providing login credentials in a secure note? We could take a closer look at what’s going on for you. Thanks!

Below are my login details. In order to be able to login I restored to Pro 1.2.3

Me too! Now my home page content is squished and I cannot see any of the live edits.

Thanks for looking into this.

Hello @Torah541,

Are you using CloudFlare or may have installed a caching plugin like Autoptimize, W3 Total Cache or WP Super Cache? Please keep in mind that after doing every updates, always remember to clear all caches when updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.

For best results, please make use of the best recommend CloudFlare settings found in this article:

My website is romimu.com.

I tried what you suggested but it did not work (I was locked out again and needed to restore the site to gain access). My site is back to Pro 1.2.3

I had this problem with Pro 1.2.3 and the issue was there was an incompatibility with Envira. Envira did a patch and the problem was fixed. Now when I upgrade to Pro 1.2.4 the same error occurs (I cannot log into the backend). I am fairly certain that the issue is Envira again. Can you confirm and let me know.

I see others are frustrated with the same issue https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/backend-inaccessible-envira-1-7-0-2-cornerstone-2-1-4-conflict/13179

No I am not using cloudflare or any of the plugins you’ve mentioned.

me too, i get this error:
TypeError: $el.csCodeEditor is not a function cs-vendor.js:19500
Uncaught TypeError: $el.csCodeEditor is not a function cs.js:28424

I’m getting this error on a page I’ve been working on before the update. www.wirednomads.com

Have I lost all the work I’ve done or is there a way to get the page to still load in cornerstone? All my other pages that are built and are live work fine.

UPDATE: I flushed the cache and it seemed to fix my problem. Hope this helps others as well!

@Torah541

Kindly note that the supported version of Envira is Version: 1.5.9

Please always check our compatibility page and changelog before updating any plugins to prevent issues like this.

@rdiverson

I checked your site it seems to look fine. It could be a cache issue.
Please clear your browser cache and check again.

@djkranendonk

Please check and make sure you are fully updated, theme and plugins.

Latest version numbers can be found here - https://theme.co/changelog/

Make sure to clear cache of your cacheplugin and browser after the update.

@WiredNomads

Glad to know the problem is fixed. Thanks for letting us know.

I don’t know how to revert back to an older version of Envira, Can you tell me how.

Also, is XTheme working with Envira to fix this problem. Envira DID an update to make it compatible with Pro 1.2.3 are they planning on update theier plugin to make it compatible with 1.2.4

I looked through MANY posts and this problem is effecting many Pro users. I would advise you to publicize the correct fix.

See https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/backend-inaccessible-envira-1-7-0-2-cornerstone-2-1-4-conflict/13179/17?u=torah541

and https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/after-update-no-backend-access/13131?u=torah541

I think this would solve frustration for hundreds of users if you addressed this issue.

Hi there,

The issue is from both ends since Envira changed their naming (namespaces) and that affects the existing integration between the two. Our developer is working on it and it’s been added to our issue tracker. We’ll provide fixes once it’s ready but there is no ETA yet.

Thanks!
