Increase Padding on Top Menu

Hi! I would like to move the top menu location down slightly from the top of my page. I submitted another support message to see if I can move my logo to the top bar, which would probably also fix this problem, but I wanted to ask just in case. My site is whatigather.com/newsite.

Hi There,

Thanks for writing in! It seems that you have enabled a coming soon page. Could you please disable it to check your site? so that we can assist you accordingly.

In the meantime, also go through the following knowledge base article (https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/customizer-header-options/135).

Thanks!

Sorry–took the coming soon page down. Also, I’ve gone through the knowledge base article. When I try to use the field for increasing the padding of the nav bar it doesn’t move.

Also, the screenshot attached is the value that I thought would increase the padding, but nothing happens when I change the number.

Hello There,

The navbar top height will set the height of the top bar. If you want some padding for the menu, please go to X > Launch > Options > Header > Links - Alignment and find the “Navbar Top Link Spacing”.

Please let us know how it goes.

I have tried that and no changes happen. I submitted a new topic last night because a lot of my settings in customized dont seem to be working.

Hi There,

In that case, would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? I did check your site source code and the CSS that is supposed to be added on the fly when those customizer setting is set is not there. Please provide following information:

Set it as Secure Note

  • WordPress Admin username / password

All the best!

I’ve done that in this thread, which better describes the real issue. https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/issues-with-customizer/9426

I’ve just replied to that thread.

Thanks,
