Help create a popup box containing text and image in X

What is the best way to create popup box where if you click on an image on a page, it shows a popup box that contains both text and images (ideally a horizontal slideshow of images).

For example, on this page: http://cjmahony.com/
… if you click on an image a popup box appears containing both images and text.

I am using the X theme… and am not sure the best way to set this up.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi cubistular.

Thanks for asking this question, this can be done by following these three steps:

  1. From (X > Validation > Extensions) install and activate “ConvertPlus” extension.
  2. Create a new modal following this guide in case you want to include text/images, or following this guide to include a shortcode of your slider (which can be done by using LayerSlider or Revolution Slider extensions).
  3. Check this tutorial to know “How to Trigger a Modal with a Cornerstone Element”. (image in your case).
