Z-index question regards to header builder

Hi there,

I have a site here:

http://www.budagastropest.com/

I have a huge image in the header, but I don’t want it to take up so much space. On lower width displays, I’d like it to keep cutting down the bottom part of the image.

I thought I could achieve this by adding a z-index to the image, but it does not seem to work. What am I doing wrong?
Basically I want the rev slider and menu under it to “above the image”

Thanks!

Hello @Pbalazs89,

Thanks for writing in!

Please understand that z-index controls the order of elements overlapping each other. The higher the number, that element will be on top of the other elements. That does not limits the display of the element on the other hand. I have check your header and the z-indexes of your bars are in order. The only problem is that your bar is 600 pixels high. Your image is more than the height of the bar which is why it goes beyond the other bar.

To resolve this, please edit your header and in your bar 1 settings, enable the Content Scrolling option.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the explanation!

You’re most welcome, @Pbalazs89.
