I was trying to add an image behind text using the z-index code. I didn’t have any success doing this and also tried adding the important tag but had the same result. Can the z-index be applied this way to elements?
Hello Bryce,
Thanks for writing in!
The z-index will only work if the elements displays behind of each other. In Cornerstone or Pro Editor, when you add an image element and a text element, they will be next below each other. The z-index will not be able to help you if you want to have an image behind a text. What you can do is to add the image as a background image of your column and then the text element will be on top of the image.
Hope this makes sense.
