Thanks for reaching out.

It’s always recommended, all videos hosted outside the site will always use an iframe and it’s not just Youtube, all of them. There are plugins that only requires youtube item, but it still generated iframe for you.

Thank you, Rad. This confirms my assumption. Many SEO experts frown upon iFrame use, and I’m not sure why. I get good metric with or without them.
