Hi I have several youtube videos embeded on pages (non -cornerstone) on my site, kingstreetimages.com
Intiallly the size of the embeds was wrong so I changed them via youtube embed, customize. They work ok now on my desktop but are completely wrong on my phone and ipad view. I plan to rebuild the site later and use cornerstone but this was a theme change and I need the video displaying correctly as I run a video and film production company. Also, is there a way to embed youtube videos without having to change the size settings to make them display properly?
Thanks
M
Hi There,
Thanks for writing in! It seems that you’re using a 3rd party plugin on your site (YouTube Embed Plus). To utilize X’s responsive video shortocode, please refer to the following guide (http://demo.theme.co/integrity-1/shortcodes/responsive-video/).
Example:
[x_video_embed]<iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/gLLFPfk14UI" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>[/x_video_embed]
Hope that helps.
Hi Midarshana
Thank you for the quick response.I’ve deactivated my third party plugin (which I wasn’t using) and tried your solution. It doesn’t work. I can’t understand why. It is all very odd as I don’t seem to have a problem on another site of mine that is running X theme without any additional coding. Please advise as this is really causing me a problem especailly as my business is video and film production.
Hi There,

Hi There,
Access to your WordPress back-end would be sufficient to check your issue.
Thanks!
I have sent you a secure note.
Hello there,
I can see that you wanted to have a quick fix. For now, kindly use the [x_video_embed]
shortcode for your videos that was provided by my colleague. For your convenience:
http://demo.theme.co/integrity-1/shortcodes/responsive-video/
Example:
[x_video_embed]<iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/gLLFPfk14UI" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>[/x_video_embed]
Then once you start rebuilding your site, you can now go with inserting the Video element in Cornerstone.
I can’t see your Wordpress User/Pass on the secure note. Please add these details by following guide below:
This way we can take a closer look of your issue.
Thank you.
Hi I have tried your suggestion earlier. It doesn’t work. In the end I had to use a third party plug in.
