Youtube link not mobile friendly

Hi there,
I have just noticed a youtube video I’ve updated doesn’t change its size when on mobile, URL https://www.honestlynatural.com.au/make-your-own-paper-bin-liner/
Its much to big, even if you turn the phone its still to big and doesn’t fit the screen. Id really appreciate some help, thanks

Let me add its only when you look at it on mobile before you press play, when you click it it goes small so you can view it. Is there a way to make it look better before you click it, see picture attached, that is the view when reading the blog.

Hello Nonie,

Thanks for writing in!

Did you just inserted this link, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cmLe2iz1DIs, in the post content? It seems that WordPress does convert it automatically as it is discussed here:
https://codex.wordpress.org/Embeds
https://en.support.wordpress.com/videos/youtube/

It is best that you use video embed shortcode along with the Youtube embed code to make sure that it will be displayed correctly.

Hope this helps.

Hi, I have tried adding my embed youtube link with the [/x_video_embed] at the start and end which hasn’t worked, it didn’t even upload the video at all.

Hello @TinyLewy,

I have tested adding this content in my local testing server:

Welcome to WordPress. This is your first post. Edit or delete it, then start writing!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cmLe2iz1DIs

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Integer scelerisque eros eu pulvinar dictum. Nunc egestas massa at elit bibendum, cursus fringilla nunc faucibus. Proin dignissim efficitur nunc a cursus. In luctus mi in nisi condimentum, sed ornare enim tempor. Praesent semper ultricies tellus, rutrum fermentum leo viverra at. Sed a venenatis ante, non aliquam tortor. Aliquam erat volutpat. Curabitur felis elit, rhoncus et molestie in, auctor euismod lorem. Etiam viverra hendrerit metus, vitae ullamcorper metus ultricies ut. Ut eu ex id ligula viverra auctor at quis urna.

I am using Twenty Seventeen Theme and I got the same results. It seems that Youtube is the one who is styling the iframe display and we can not do anything about it.

Hope this explains it briefly.
