Hello! After updating to the latest version of X Theme, the icon of our youtube channel in the footer looks corrupted (see beside Linkedin Icon). How can I fix it? Thank you!
same problem…please read here…
Thanks for sharing the solution, @robyx. One thing my colleague forgot to remind in that thread though is you need to remove the temporary fix once the official fix has been released.
Hi there,
Thank you for your patience with this. I just wanted to let you know X 6.2.2 is now available and includes a fix for this problem.
thank you all!! I’ll update immediately. Hugs, diana
well, I’ve just updated, but actually the update made all the social icons in the footer disappeared!
Hi Diana,
I’ve checked the site and the icons are showing. Are you still having this issue?
Hm… yes! check the screenshot… all social icons in the footer have now disappeared! If I check the social settings in the customizer wizard of X options the links are properly configured… but no icons anymore (they should appear below the menu in the footer)… same happens with my other website www.dianatedoldi.com: no social icons in the footer with the update to 6.2.2.
What can I do?
Just discovered that social icons appear in Google Chrome, but NOT in Firefox (either on Mac and Windows)!
So maybe you should check settings for Firefox browser because that’s where the problem seems to appear.
I’ve checked both sites on Chrome and Firefox and I can see the social icons are appearing just fine at the footer, please check the video screencast I shared in the secure note below.
Make sure to clear your browser cache and check your site in Firefox Private mode:

Also, try checking your website on different devices.
Thanks.
Hello Alaa! That’s amazing, I have the same browsers you have, but they don’t display! Cleared the cache, navigated in private mode in Firefox (same verison you have)… NADA, NICHT, NIENTE! I understand it’s something about my browser / mac, so that’s totally fine, I’ll fix it.
On my smartphone I can see them perfectly also with Ecosia, so it must be my Mac or s.thing.
Thank you for your support (you’re amazing!!!)
We’re glad we could help.
Cheers!
