Hi. I have a background using a youtube video. the video will only play if you click on the it first. how can i get it to autoplay?

Though Youtube video will work in a Section’s background, there’s no option to make it autoplay as it’s designed for self-hosted video. Please upload an mp4 in your site and use it instead. If you wish to continue using the Youtube video, regretfully, that would require custom development. We do have an in-house custom development team that offer paid services, who may be able to assist. They can be contacted at pinnacle@theme.co if this is of interest to you.

i have uploaded the MP4 version but unable to attach it to the background. It thinks and then just dissapears. What am i doing wrong?

Hi @finger123,

if you click the video in the WordPress media library, you will see a URL field where you can copy the URL where the file was uploaded. In the content builder, you can paste that video URL into the section video background setting.
