YotPo reviews not working in Pro

Hi there!

We’re using YotPo Reviews for our product review platform. The plugin is supposed to replace the native reviews system in Woocommerce, but it doesn’t seem to in Pro when using {{dc:woocommerce:product_reviews}} in a tab.

Could it be a hook isn’t happening? I can confirm that it does work in a default WP theme.

Thanks for reaching out.
The Yotpo is a 3rd Party plugin and we are not much aware of that. Unfortunately, we never tested the plugin with our theme yet, and also have not received any compatibility issues with it till now. Still, I would suggest you troubleshoot the following common issue to help to recognize the reason.

1. Theme Related Issue
2. Plugin Conflict
3. Theme Update related issue
4. CSS/JS Customization
5. Disabling Cache
6. Disabling CDN

If you discover that an issue is coming from a custom code or 3rd party plugin, kindly consult with a developer or contact the plugin author. Please note that we do not provide support for custom codes and 3rd party plugins.
As this is a 3rd Party shortcode issue, we don’t have any control over the code. Still, we are curious to know if the issue only persists with our theme.

I would suggest you please please copy your live site to a staging server so we could troubleshoot freely without breaking your live site.
And give us access in the secure note including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

Please note that we do not guarantee a fix or compatibility for custom codes.

I can confirm it does work on the Twenty Twenty-One theme. I copied our production environment to staging, details in secure note.

I have installed the Pro version 6.1.9 and found that the Single Product page shows the YotPo reviews as shown in the given screenshot.

Can you kindly provide a URL where the YotPo reviews are working? The site we’re aiming to have them functioning on is https://bonfirecoffee.wpenginepowered.com/. Or a specific product page: https://bonfirecoffee.wpenginepowered.com/shop/coffee/single-origin/single-origin-subscription/, which is using the dynamic content {{dc:woocommerce:product_reviews fallback=“No Reviews”}} which should be replaced/filtered with the YotPo plugin?

Yes, it does work on the dev site for Bonfire, but that site isn’t using pro. We really want YotPo reviews to be pulled into the reviews tab on the Pro theme. This site is using pro: https://bonfirecoffstg.wpengine.com/. The dev site is using the Twenty Twenty-One theme: https://bonfirecoffdev.wpengine.com.

The dev site I have checked is using the Pro version 6.1.9 and the reviews are showing.

But as you are expecting that it will replace the WooCommerce default Review*, you need to contact the plugin author on this.
Please remember that, this is a 3rd Party plugin and we don’t have any control over the code.
