Yoast doesnt seem to be able to read the first para in my page.
It keep saying my keyword cant be found in the first para.
Can you please help

It would be best to consult Yoast plugin developer about this. Although, I did some research and found this same issue that might help you. It explains the reason why there are times even when the keyword is there, it is not recognized.
