Yoast showing more than one <h1> tag

Hi,

I have just finished building a new site for a client and Yoast is indicating that there are more than one

tags on every page.

I have double checked each page and the

tag has definitely only been set to one headline for each page.

Are

tags being added from some other part of the theme?

Darren.

Hi Darren,

Thanks for reaching out.
I have checked your Home and About page and found that the <h1> is used only once, can you please let us know the pages where you have found this issue. I would also like to point out that, if you are using the Headline element, you can select the desired tag you want to wrap with the text.

Hope it helps.
Thanks

Hi Tristup,

Yes, I am aware that I can use Headline to set the

tag - this is what I normally do.
The issue I am referring to is that Yoast is showing more than one

tag on every page. Here is a screenshot of the ABOUT page that you checked…

You can see that Yoast is showing a Single Title error, where it finds more than one

tag on the page.

I’ve just noticed in my posts that it was not showing H1.

The problem I am referring to relates to Yoast showing more than one H1 tag on each page.

Darren.

Hi Darren,

That must be a false alarm from Yoast analyzer. I check the page view-source on the front end and on the Chrome’s Lighthouse and I only saw one h1.
