Yoast SEO updates breaking style on pages

Hi themco,

This is causing a major headache for our SEO manager. Whenever she makes updates to the seo fields in the page editor (not Pro page editor) it breaks the style on the pages she is editing. There seems to be an incompatibility between yoast and the latest version of Pro.

Thanks for reaching out.

There has been an on-going issue with the Pro theme and WordPress 5.7 that causes this Yoast conflict. Please edit the post first to input the necessary Yoast information and then edit the page back in the Pro Editor.

Thanks @ruenel but this isn’t really a solution for us as I do the the pro editing and someone else with SEO level access updates the seo information and so when she updates the page, from Wordpress not from Pro, the style breaks. She is not familiar with Pro and the way are set up requires a different solution.

Editing the page back in Pro is something I’ve discovered already to fix the issue after they make updates but this back and forth with them is causing issues with client. Their seo updates are constantly breaking the style and then I’m needing to go back in and fix, sometimes multiple times a day.

This has already been added to our issue tracker and will be looked into by our development team. I cannot make any promises relating to a fix at this stage. I will add a note to the tracker referencing your report though so our dev team can see there are multiple reports of the issue.
