Yoast SEO Plugin seems to stop or cause saving issues on pages

Hi guys,

I am creating a woocommerce website for a customer of mine however the Pro Editor for the theme seems to suddenly halt saving and says “there was an error saving”, whenever I attempt to do so.

In particular when I add custom css to an element and attempting to save it.

I found previous topics on the forums here which suggested that Yoast SEO may be problematic and causing issues.

Lo and behold when I deactivate the app and attempt to save the changes, everything seems to work fine.

In saying that is there anything that can be done to sort this out? I will supply login details in a private message once I get a reply back.

Hey @Dracostar,

I activated Yoast SEO on your site and I can still edit and save the test page I created on your site (see secure note). If the issue is only happening in one of the pages, please provide the URL.

Please also try updating Yoast SEO and deactivating features one by one.

Please note that we can’t guarantee a fix for plugin conflicts. But, if the conflict is replicable and proven to be happening with only Yoast SEO and X/Cornerstone, we’ll post the case in our issue tracker so it will be queued to be investigated by our development team.

Hi Christian,

Thankyou I don’t know what was done. But possibly it was a plugin install issue. So disabling and re-enabling it sorted it out thankyou.

I also have another issue I will be posting in a seperate topic which I may need assistance for. But thanks for fixing this issue!
