YOAST SEO Plugin not working with X Pro Theme

Hi,
We upgraded from X Theme to PRO and ever since we did upgrade our Yoast SEO Premium plugin is not working, it crashes our site every time we install it. We contacted Yoast and they said it has to do with the theme to contact you. Can you please help.

Thanks for writing in! When you say it crashes the site, do you just get a whitescreen and nothing else?

If you do, there should be an error in your server error log, please check the error log and let us know any errors logged which will help in debugging.

We are in the same, if we activate the plugin Yoast SEO, the main page goes blank…
The other pages and posts, even the woocommerce store works great, but the main page not.
What can I do to fix it?

Please also check your error logs and then give us what you can find. We need to know the actual error to diagnosed the issue.

It is on your server. You can ask your hosting provider if you don’t where to get it.

We deactivated the Yoast plugin and activated it again, but one of our posts in our site crashed and we did not know about it until today. Now our hosting company said today again that they investigated the issue and that is the Yoast Plugin that is not redirecting the url. So right now Yoast can not be activated for this reason. Are you doing something about this?

Hello There,

I have installed Yoast SEO plugin 5.1 in our local test server. Upon activation of the plugin, there is no issue as in no white screen. It did not crashed our testing server. The issue must be unique to your installation. Could we investigate it further by finding out which error is displaying? Can we enable debug mode in your site? You can do this by opening wp-config.php and adding define( 'WP_DEBUG' , true ); just above /* That's all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */

For example:

define('WP_DEBUG', true);

/* That's all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */

When you revisit the page, you should have some error output describing the issue in more detail. And if possible, please include the error details in your next reply.
