Yoast and Cornerstoen compatibility

Hi there,

I’m wondering whether there is a way to make yoast automatically grab content from cornerstone text elements.

It’s important because of SEO, but for pages where I use cornerstone it seems like I have to do double the work.

Thanks for writing in.

It’s Yoast limitation since it analyses the raw content of the editor instead of the actual page. Let’s take a sample of adding [image] to your editor, it will not be recognized as an image because it’s not <img>.

The thing is search engines don’t crawl the raw and internal content of your site, it crawls your live page where [image] is already processed to display <img>. Then I’m not sure why Yoast based its analysis on those raw content.
