Why are there no dates on the posts in this forum? I can’t tell how old they are?
Hello Mike,
Thanks for writing in!
Please click on the right side over the time link and a small lightbox will popup wherein you can see the date when ticket was created. Here’s a screenshot.
Thanks.
Ah. OK. Would be much better to just display the year. Why don’t you do that?
Hi @mikewolf1127,
It will show hours if the posts are hours old, day if the post is days old, month and date if the post is months old, then month and year if the post is year old.
The hourly helps us sort the open posts.
Cheers!
Ah, ok. So if there is no year in the displayed date, then it is under a year old?
Yes that is correct, here are some examples
- This very ticket that you posted 8h ago.
- This ticket is 5d ago
- Ticket from Feb 9 (this year).
- And a ticket from Jun '17 (June 2017).
Hope this shed some lights,
Cheers!
Well, the post from 2017 does not show the year. Unless you hover over the date. Which is my point. I just want to know how old a post is without having to hover over anything. It should just be displayed.
Hello Mike,
There is no need to hover anything to see how old the post it.
For example the 2017 post, it says Jun '17 = June 2017.
If you want to see the complete date information of the post, that is the time that you need to hover.
Hope this makes it clear.
Oh! Oh! I was missing the apostrophe. Thank you.
You are most welcome.
