Xtheme + PRO - front end broken, cannot edit any page with PRO

About to go live today, wanted to fix the iOS double tap mobile menu issue.
Not sure why, but the site stopped displaying properly. Now we cannot edit any page with PRO, can’t update headers or footers.

For a while, we could see the header and footer in editing mode only, but that wouldn’t display properly when not editing.

We have taken a snaphot from 4am last night and replaced all of the files - works even less than before.

Unfortunately, we did not set up a site file or database backup.

The site now says there are numerous javascript errors.

Restore to the previous broken state - we can get to edit page with PRO, the page looks good while in editing mode, but does not display properly upon saving.

The PRO footer also displays fine while in editing mode, but does not display properly on the front end after saving.

We tried disabling all of the plugins to rule out a plugin conflict, tried switching back to the parent theme, no change. Also no custom javascript included.

We also cleared the PRO style cache as well.

Hey @disadmin,

I checked your site and there’s a CSS syntax error keeping the builder’s generated CSS from working. Please try removing all your custom CSS in Theme Options, Header CSS and/or Page CSS.

If that doesn’t help, please give us the following information in a Secure Note.

  • WordPress Login URL
  • Admin level username and password
  • FTP access
