Xtheme not validate after 3 years

My Xtheme says it is not validated but when I put in my code it locks up. I have this up and running for 3 years. Also the media will not upload says the Unable to create directory uploads/2018/11. Is its parent directory writable by the server? is related ?

I see that you’re having plenty of X licenses, so I’m not sure which site you’re referring to.

If you have missed major X theme updates and if you’re currently using an older version of X theme or Cornerstone plugin, our validation process will not be initiated correctly. Please check the latest version numbers from here (https://theme.co/changelog/) and update your X theme and Cornerstone plugin manually for once by following our manual update guide here (https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/setup-updating-your-themes-and-plugins/62). With regard to directory writable issues, please check the following resource and see if that helps (https://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_File_Permissions).

it is the fast-trac is the license. when i put the codes in the website it locks up the site

It seems that you are using a very old version of X and Cornerstone. In that case you will have to manually update X through FTP then validate it.

Please remember to clear all caches when updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors or any unexpected display issue on the site.

As for the issue with the media upload, just like what @mldarshana, you will have to check the permissions of your folders. If you are not sure how to proceed, kindly get in touch with your hosting provider so that they can help you sort it out.
