Xtheme and Multisite for Root Site and Subdomains

Hello,

I have an upcoming project that has a root domain and will branch out to several sub domains. I’d like to use Multisite in WP to make is easier to manage the main site and its subdomains. I’d also like to use X for the theme of this site and it’s subdomains.

My question is, is X compatible with a Multisite install of WP? How would I go about managing X licenses in this situation? Can x be updated via a simple update in Multisite or is ftp required? Any other tips or suggestions?

P.S. Cost is not an issue with this project. We will be purchasing a license for the root and each subdomain, as needed.

Any info would be great.
Thanks!
Josh

Hello @jzarwel,

Thanks for asking.

Yes, X Theme is fully compatible with Multisite environment. The first thing would be to install the theme in your Network overview settings. Then activate the theme network wide. Regarding licence, you can use single licence in Multisite installation with subdirectories not for Sub domains. For more information, I suggest you to please take a look at following video to setup multisite website:

Thanks.

Thanks for the info. This setup will be with sub domains. So we will be purchasing several licenses for this project.

Any advice on the best way to go about this? Is it possible to use X in this scenario?

Thanks again.
Josh

Hi @jzarwel,

I have asked other staff of our team and check other thread related to this, Yes it is possible to use X in this scenario however the only way to this is to manually control the root site and its sub domain. Any updates or change to the domain or sub-domain should be control one by one manually. There is no plugins or feature to access X domains and sub domain automatically.

Thank you so much for understanding.
