X & XPro and Gutenberg

I’m sure there are other posts on this subject here, but I don’t see a search feature and can’t find them if there are…

I’ve seen a post from christopher.amirian on April 9th, 2018 saying that you are committed to staying compatible with the latest version of WordPress. but without saying anything specific about Gutenberg (which raises “alarm bells” since it’s such an area of importance that one imagines you would address it explicitly if there were plans to keep the X & X Pro themes compatible with Gutenberg. Like many others, I’m sure, this matters for not only my own sites, but a number of client sites I’m responsible for, so I’m wondering if you are able to address this question yet.

Thanks for writing in and for bringing this up.

X and Pro theme definitely supports Gutenberg plugin.

Gutenberg is an editor for WordPress than you can use in creating a post or a page. I have tested this already and this plays along with X and Pro with no issues. Gutenberg is a new way and better experience in publishing a WordPress page or post.

Please also keep in mind that X and Pro theme does not rely on the default WP editor because X and Pro theme has its own page builder for you to insert the built in element like sections, rows, columns and other elements necessary in building a page/post.
