X updated itself

Hi, is there a circumstance where X can actually update itself. I don’t mean the automatic update feature, I mean X actually went from 6.04 to the very latest version in my wordpress live system last night - actually pushed it live (which led to a bunch of style issues that meant I had to restore yesterday’s system). Thanks for writing in!

There is no such feature that X would update itself automatic. It would show you the latest version where you can update, that is the automatic feature of the theme.
I am not sure why this happened to you, there is no such instance reported till the latest update.
WordPress may have causes the CSS issue which need the latest version of our theme too.
