X theme : woocommerce product page breadcrumbs missing the categories

Hello,

the default breadcrumbs in woocommerce display the category / subcategories / product-name on the product page, however in X theme, the breadcrumbs work well for category / subcat / subcat etc. but when reaching the product page, all categories disappear completely from the breadcrumbs and we are left with home > shop > product name.

Am I missing some setting ?

Hi Pierre,

You are not missing anything, in the X theme the WooCommerce breadcrumb works like that. The breadcrumb directly points to the Product or Shop page with the Product Details page.

If I need a full breadcrumbs with categories and product, such as the default woocommerce behavior, would switching to the Pro theme fix this?

Pro theme would also output some as you are getting now from X theme just because it has been code like this. The feature that you want, it would require custom development. I would suggest you contact a developer who can assist you with your concern.
