X theme won't work after update

hi, few weeks ago i installed the plugin " WP Fastest Cache ".
the result was that the web site didn’t load on mobile( showing white page)
i had to restore the website to make it work…
now if i try to update X theme or cornerstone plugin the problem returns.
how can i fix the problem without risking that the website will crush again ?

p.s
i am not sure that this plugin made the problem because it’s took a while until i realize that there is a problem.

Thanks for writing in!

As you’re getting a white page, there must be a fatal error somewhere, you can either check with your host for the error log. Or in your wp-config.php change the following define:

define( 'WP_DEBUG', false );

to

define( 'WP_DEBUG', true );

You should then see any errors and warnings output, only errors will cause the issue you are seeing. If you could paste that error here and we’ll then be able to advise further.

hi jack thanks for your answer , i did as you said and refresh the home page and nothing happens. does it means that everything it in order?
can i try now to upgrade x theme and cornerstone ?

Hi There,

First, it is best to setup a staging site and then do the update there. This way it would not affect your live site. There is a recent update that fixed some issues. See our changelog here: https://theme.co/changelog/
Try to update and then let us know how this goes.
