Hi, I recently updated my X theme to the latest version, as well as Wordpress, and PHP to 7.4. Since this update I am having an issue with X theme and the Memberpress Plugin, which I use for all the membership functionality for my website. To troubleshoot I disabled all plugins and then only activated Memberpress, and still got the issue, so it seems that it is a problem between the latest X theme version and Memberpress. This issue was not happening before I updated X theme. My problem is the “cancel” button on my website, using memberpress, is not working. Is this a known issue between X theme and Memberpress? What can I do to solve this issue? Thanks, Grayson
Hello Grayson,
Thanks for writing to us.
We really don’t have tested this plugin with the theme and not even received any compatibility issue with it till now. I would suggest you contact the plugin author on this.
Although we can’t guarantee a fix we’ll be interested to know why our theme is causing such issues you described if proven. To make sure that is our theme related issue, I would suggest you troubleshoot few common issues:
- Testing For Theme Related Issue
- Testing For Plugin Conflict
- Theme Update
- Child Theme
- Css/Js Customization
- Increasing Php Memory Limit
- Disabling Cache
- Disabling Cdn
- Permalinks
- Version Compatibility
If you discover that an issue is coming from a custom code or 3rd party plugin, kindly consult with a developer or contact the plugin author. Please note that we do not provide support for custom codes and 3rd party plugins.
If none of the above helps and you are still getting the issue, please copy your live site to a staging server so we could troubleshoot freely without breaking your live site.
And give us access in the secure note including:
– WordPress Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password
