X Theme - "Unable to check for updates. Try again later"

Hi all.

I found that in my website this issue occurred… X theme is not into the plugin list to update and so I tried to click on “Check now button” in Validation page (Automatic updates box)

But the error in object appears.

Thanks for reaching out.
The X is a theme that should not be listed in your plugin list. You can find that in Appearance > Themes. If the update notice is not showing in the Theme, or the automatic update is not working properly, I would suggest you update the X by following the below steps.

  1. Activate any other theme.
  2. Delete the X.
  3. Download the latest version of X i.e. 9.1.4 from your Themeco Account dashboard.
  4. Reinstall the X through the Appearance > Themes > Upload Theme.

I would also suggest that please copy your live site to a staging server and then perform the above steps in the staging server. If everything works fine, migrate the staging server to live.
