This problem has been going on for a while, but it’s to the point now where I’m thinking about switching themes because editing, adding pages and doing basic stuff just takes for ever. The site is freezing pretty much every time I try to save something on the backend, like a post or page, even just saving a draft takes several minutes, and I’m lucky if it doesn’t just render an error and I have to refresh and lose my progress.
Is there anything I can do to fix the problem? I have updated Wordpress, the theme and plugins, as well as performance improvements, and nothing ever seems to help.
